Stage 1 — Essay
Schools submit essays online. Essay submission = school entry. One essay per school. JSS 1–3 only.

19 JULY 2026
Shortlist announced
Top schools selected. Stage 2 motion and video guidelines sent to shortlisted schools. All schools notified with feedback.

20 – 31 JULY 2026
Stage 2 open
Shortlisted schools record and submit a 7-minute video debate. Main speaker and supporting speaker.

15 August 2026
Finalists announced
Grand Finale schools selected. Detailed feedback sent to all Stage 2 participants. Finalists notified of venue and logistics.

29 September 2026 · Abeokuta
Semi-final & Grand Finale
Finalist schools compete live. Both rounds held the same day. Cash prizes, certificates, and teacher recognition awards.
